Why I Love Being a Doula

My passion for supporting women and all things childbirth has been growing steadily since 2012 after watching a documentary on the subject. I find the strength and perserverance of laboring women to be fascinating (not to mention, our bodies rock!) Having endured labor and childbirth myself, I understand the importance of continuous labor support. I also understand the need for childbirth education and the need for such information to be readily available to the masses. It is my desire to bring these services to Charlotte, NC and the surrounding areas

Who I Am
I am a wife, birth & bereavement doula and realist living in Charlotte, NC. I enjoy creative writing, reading, Lake Norman, childbirth education and advocating for women (and anyone else who needs to be heard.) I am a lover of all things simple and always enjoy a good cup of coffee & a good book. I think the ability to trust one's body is the greatest gift you can give yourself.
